Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The RF1420X1 is a double-door Gastronorm upright freezer for high-volume back-of-house frozen storage. It offers 954 litres of net storage from a 1300-litre gross capacity, laid out across six grey wire shelves, with SS304 stainless steel inside and out and two hinged self-closing solid doors that pull shut behind a busy kitchen.
It holds a frozen band of −22 to −18 °C using ventilated cooling for even temperature through the cabinet, with automatic electric defrost and an electronic controller. It is rated energy class B with an EEI of 28.6 and runs at 48 dB. Cooling is on R290 with a 150 g charge. Input power is 480 W; on a verified 1763 kWh a year that works out to about £441 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1420 × 875 × 2090 mm externally and ships packed at 1445 × 905 × 2150 mm (W×D×H), so measure doorways and lifts against the 875 mm depth and 1420 mm width before delivery. It weighs 224 kg net, 234 kg gross, is rated climate class 5, and runs from a standard 13 A, 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply.
