Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The CAF1250 is a two-door upright freezer built for bulk frozen storage in a working kitchen. It gives you 1300 litres gross and 940 litres net across six wire shelves, with a stainless steel exterior and interior that stands up to daily back-of-house use. The two hinged solid doors and gastronorm-compatible layout make it a workhorse for holding frozen deliveries off the line.
Day to day it holds -22 to -17 °C and carries a climate class 4 rating, so it keeps temperature in warm, busy kitchens. It uses R290 refrigerant with automatic hot-gas defrost, and it is rated at energy class C, consuming 2989.3 kWh a year — about £747 a year at 25p/kWh. Measured noise output is 65 dB, so it belongs in back-of-house rather than a quiet front counter.
The cabinet measures 1314 × 845 × 2130 mm and ships packed at 1354 × 885 × 2150 mm, so check doorway and lift access before delivery — gross weight is 205 kg, a two-person handle. It runs from a standard 13A supply at 220-240V 50Hz, drawing 950W, and holds a 150 g charge of R290.
