Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The G-Line by TEFCOLD GUF140 is a two-door gastronorm upright freezer for back-of-house bulk frozen storage. It gives 1166 litres gross and 1056 litres net across six wire shelves behind two self-closing hinged solid doors, with a stainless steel interior and exterior. It is the freezer that holds a week's frozen stock in one footprint rather than a bank of smaller units.
Day to day it holds -24 to -18 °C on ventilated cooling for an even temperature through a full cabinet, managed by an electronic controller. It runs at 45 dB and carries climate class 4 for warmer kitchen ambients. At 3011.2 kWh a year it costs about £753 a year at 25p/kWh, energy class D with an EEI of 62.4.
The cabinet measures 1340 × 845 × 2000 mm (W×D×H) externally with a 1220 × 680 × 1384 mm interior, and it ships crated at 1400 × 880 × 2070 mm — at two metres tall and 845 mm deep, check door heights and the delivery route before it arrives. It runs on a standard 13A supply drawing 730 W at 220–240 V, uses R290 refrigerant with a 145 g charge, and weighs 160 kg gross, 140 kg net.
