Why this commercial under counter freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD UF200 is a single-door undercounter freezer built to add frozen storage where floor space is tight. It holds 200 litres gross and 120 litres net across two fixed freezing shelves behind one hinged solid door, giving back-of-house a dedicated frozen store within reach of the prep section rather than a trek to a walk-in.
It runs between -24 and -10 °C on static cooling with an electronic controller, holding frozen stock at a safe temperature through service. Defrost is manual, so build it into the cleaning routine. The cabinet is rated to climate class 4 for use in warmer kitchen ambients and runs at 40 dB. At 438 kWh a year that works out at about £110 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 600 × 585 × 855 mm externally, so it slots into a standard 600 mm counter run; allow for the packed size of 690 × 650 × 910 mm when planning the delivery route. It runs from a standard 13 A supply on 220–240 V and uses R600a refrigerant with a 60 g charge. Net weight is 47 kg, finished white outside with a white ABS interior.
