Why this chest freezer earns its place
This is a compact chest freezer built for sites where floor space is at a premium. The slimline black steel cabinet is 574mm wide and holds 93 litres, suited to bulk items like joints of meat, bagged vegetables or catering ice — a straightforward workhorse for kitchens, farm shops and butchers rather than a display unit.
Temperature is adjustable across a -28°C to +10°C range via a digital controller with a fast-freeze function, so it can be set anywhere from a standard freezer band down to a genuine deep-freeze. Cooling is static, on a climate class SN rating (intended for ambient temperatures of +10°C to +32°C), Energy Class E on R600a refrigerant, drawing 105W from a 220-240V supply. It runs at just 42dB, quiet enough for front-of-house or noise-sensitive positioning.
The exterior is strong black steel with a front-mounted defrost drain for easy manual defrosting and cleaning, adjustable feet for levelling on an uneven floor, and a lockable lid to secure contents. It's supplied with a basket for organising stock, and backed by a 1-year parts and labour warranty. Gross weight is 27kg.
