Why this fridge room earns its place
The DS484-CGN is a Polar U-Series integral walk-in cold room on a 1.8 x 1.5m footprint, finished in green panels, storing 4,483 litres of chilled stock at +2 to +5°C. It gives a commercial kitchen a single enclosed chilled space to enter, load and pick from, taking bulk deliveries out of packed reach-in fridges and off the kitchen floor.
Because it is a walk-in rather than a cabinet, you shelve and zone the interior to your own workflow and reorganise as your stock changes. The refrigeration is integral and built into the room — 80mm foam insulation with R449A gas and fan-assist cooling running from a single 230V supply — so there is nothing to plumb to a remote pack elsewhere in the building.
As an integral unit it installs without the separate condenser a remote system needs. Externally it stands 2200mm tall on a 2200 × 1800mm base, weighs 375kg, and arrives as modular panels that assemble in position, so you plan delivery access through your doorways. Internally it measures 2037 × 1580 × 1280mm, giving full-height access and proper shelving depth.
