Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Cold and Freezer Room is a modular walk-in that puts chilled and frozen storage under one roof — a dedicated bulk cold store for a kitchen that has outgrown its uprights. Rather than a cabinet you open, it's a room you walk into, so a full delivery, hanging stock or stacked trays can be loaded, organised and picked from without playing tetris across several fridges.
It combines a chilled section and a freezer section, letting one structure cover both holding roles for a working kitchen. Insulated panels hold temperature against a busy back-of-house environment, and the walk-in layout keeps stock visible and reachable, which makes stock rotation and HACCP checks straightforward across a shift.
It arrives as modular insulated panels that assemble on site, so it can be built into the space you have rather than shipped as one fixed box. Siting needs a level floor, clear access for the panels, and a suitable power supply and drainage. Full external dimensions and weight are in the specification table — plan the footprint, the floor loading and the delivery route from those before you commit.
