Why this freezer room earns its place
The DS482-FGY holds 4483 litres of frozen storage in a 1.5 × 1.8 m footprint — a walk-in freezer room you step into, giving a busy kitchen one organised cold space for cases, trays and batch-frozen prep instead of stock spread across several freezers. Internally you get 2037 × 1280 × 1580 mm of usable space, enough for proper shelving and rotation rather than stacking awkwardly around reach-in doors.
Being an integral room, the refrigeration is built in rather than run from a remote pack, so it arrives as a complete unit and does not need a separate plant location. It runs at -15 to -18 °C, maintained by 80mm of insulation and fan-assisted cooling on a 1800 W 230V supply. Once powered and up to temperature, it holds a stable frozen environment.
Integral walk-ins are assembled from insulated panels on site (375 kg total weight), so plan the door swing and the route in — the panels and door need to clear your access. For a room this size, floor loading (important for a load-bearing surface), drainage and the electrical supply all matter. We recommend a site survey before ordering to confirm the footprint suits your space.
