Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD RTC880X1 is a roll-through chiller built for high-throughput chilled storage in a working kitchen or bakery. Two hinged solid doors give roll-through access, so racks loaded from the prep side can be drawn from the service side without doubling back. With 1089 litres gross and 416 litres net, it holds trayed and racked stock at a steady chilled temperature.
Cooling is ventilated for an even temperature across the load, with automatic off-cycle defrost that clears frost without a manual routine. The chiller holds +2 to +10 °C and is climate class 5, rated for warm kitchen ambients. It runs on R290 refrigerant with a 105 g charge, draws 330 W and measures 52 dB in use. Rated at 1679 kWh a year, that works out at about £420 a year at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 880 × 1082 × 2201 mm and internally 720 × 906 × 1810 mm. It packs to 905 × 1120 × 2350 mm and weighs 205 kg gross, 168 kg net, so plan lift access and check door heights before delivery given the 2201 mm cabinet height. The exterior and interior are SS304 stainless steel throughout, and it runs at 220–240 V.
