Why this upright wine fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD TFW400F is a freestanding upright wine cooler in a black finish, built to store and display bottled wine in a commercial setting. A single hinged frameless door fronts 350 litres of usable space, and 15 wooden wine shelves let you rack stock at consistent heights and keep the presentation neat behind the glass.
Day to day it holds a single band from +5 to +18 °C, wide enough to cover both serving and cellar temperatures, with an electronic controller and automatic defrost handling the routine. It runs at 39 dB, sits in climate class 4, and carries an energy class G rating of 156.9 kWh a year — about £39 a year at 25p/kWh. Cooling uses R600a with a 55 g charge.
The cabinet measures 595 × 680 × 1760 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 106 kg net. At 595 mm wide it clears most standard doorways, though the 106 kg weight and 1760 mm height mean a two-person install. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V.
