Why this fresh meat display fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Refrigerated Meat Display RICK 2.5 is a serve-over counter built for fresh meat, presenting cuts behind glass so customers can see the range while staff serve to order. At 2570 mm wide and 1070 mm deep, it gives a generous display run for butchers, farm shops and food halls while staying more manageable than the larger RICK 3.0 and 4.0 counters.
Plate cooling chills the display deck itself, holding product on a cold surface rather than relying on air alone. The supplier-stated operating band is -1 to +7 °C, with static cooling, R290 refrigerant, automatic defrost, a digital controller and LED interior lighting, so the counter has the key features expected of a fresh-meat display line.
As a serve-over, the counter is a display-and-serve unit rather than bulk storage: load it from a coldroom or prep fridge and work through the stock across the trading day. The 1071 litre gross volume, stainless steel build and 40 mm insulation make it a serious counter for regular retail use.
