Why this fresh meat display fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD SOCA45INTB is a refrigerated serve-over counter for face-to-face fresh-food service, with a 0.91 m² display area that presents chilled produce to the customer while staff serve from behind. Its 0 to +4 °C temperature band suits fresh meat and other fresh goods that need a tight, cold hold, making it a working counter for a butcher, fishmonger or deli service point rather than a general chiller.
It holds 0 to +4 °C using ventilated cooling for an even temperature across the display, with an automatic electric defrost and electronic control. Natural R290 refrigerant (a 130 g charge) keeps its environmental impact low, and the cabinet draws 310 W. It is rated at climate class 3 and a noise level of 60 dB. On its rated 1606 kWh a year, running cost is about £402 a year at 25p/kWh.
This is a substantial counter at 220 kg gross and 180 kg net, so plan the delivery route and positioning with the weight in mind and use enough hands to move it safely. It runs from a standard 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply. Leave ventilation clearance around the cabinet so the ventilated cooling can hold temperature under a full load.
