Why this flat glass serve over fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Cold Display Ronald 2.0 is a flat-glass serve-over display fridge built for counter service. The flat glass front gives customers a clean, uninterrupted line of sight across the deck so the product shows itself — the format a deli, patisserie or farm-shop counter chooses when what is on display closes the sale. The cabinet is 1955 mm wide, 940 mm deep and 870 mm high, built to sit alongside or within a fixed counter run as a merchandise point rather than a standalone unit.
In service it works as a served counter should: chilled stock stays on display behind the glass through the trading day at +0 to +5 °C, and staff reach in from the back to arrange, top up and serve. The cabinet holds 195 litres gross volume, making it sized for a healthy display run on a medium-length counter. The customer face stays merchandised and tidy while the working side does the loading and portioning, keeping the counter looking full and considered even at a busy shift. It is built from stainless steel (AISI 201) with 40 mm of insulation to hold temperature consistently.
It is a freestanding counter unit that sits on the shop floor as a fixed serving point and connects to a standard 230 V mains supply at 50 Hz (0.44 kW load). The cabinet weighs 260 kg gross when delivered. Think about the delivery route and a level run of floor when you plan where it goes, measure against the footprint, and leave the airflow around the cabinet clear so it holds temperature through service.
