Why this curved glass serve over fridge earns its place
The TAVIRA II 150 is a slimline serve-over counter for businesses selling chilled food across the counter where floor space is tight. Its 0.96 m² display presents product at the front of the counter in a white exterior with a stainless steel interior. It suits delis, café counters and small food retail where a full-depth cabinet would not fit.
It holds +2 to +8 °C, a fresh-product band for cooked meats, cheeses, dairy and prepared chilled foods rather than raw fish or frozen stock. Automatic off-cycle defrost keeps the coil clear without a manual routine. It is rated energy class E at 1744.7 kWh a year — about £436 a year at 25p/kWh — with a climate class of 3 for warm rooms, and it runs quietly at 54 dB, which matters on a customer-facing counter.
The counter runs from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V, so no special electrics are needed. It weighs 156 kg net and 198 kg packed, so plan the lift and delivery route before it arrives. Cooling uses R290 refrigerant with a 350 g charge.
