Why this low height multideck fridge earns its place
The Cold Display 1.5 is a low-height multideck: an open-front chilled cabinet, 1.5 m wide and 0.66 m deep, with tiered shelves that put stock at the shopper's fingertips. There is no door between the customer and the product, which is what makes multidecks the workhorses of grab-and-go retail — people reach in, take what they want and keep moving. The 440-litre capacity holds a strong range of packaged chilled lines, and the LED interior light makes every product visible and appetizing.
The cabinet holds stock at +2 to +8 °C and maintains that temperature via ventilated cooling with automatic defrost, so it cycles actively without manual maintenance. Day to day, it earns its keep by keeping product faced and reachable. The tiered shelves hold pre-packed chilled stock in clear rows, so staff can rotate and re-face quickly and shoppers can see the full range at a glance. As with any open-front cabinet, the refrigerated air curtain across the front does the work — keeping shelves stocked to the load line and load evenly across the tiers keeps that curtain stable and the display performing.
For siting, the low-height profile (1.5 m tall) lends itself to wall runs and to positions where a full-height cabinet would block sightlines. At 150 kg, it is manageable to position. Before delivery, measure the narrowest point of your access route (doorways, corridors) and check it against the cabinet width. Leave clear airflow around the back and sides so the refrigeration system can shed heat. If access is tight or you are planning a multi-cabinet run, talk it through with us first.
