Why this low height multideck fridge earns its place
The INFRICO VBR9SS is a compact open-front refrigerated merchandiser in a low-height multideck format. Under a metre wide at 998mm, the open front lets customers reach straight in with no door to pull, which suits chilled grab-and-go — drinks, dairy, food-to-go and pre-packed chilled lines that sell on impulse. Its low height makes it a counter-height or end-of-aisle merchandiser rather than a full-height wall of display.
In use it runs as a self-contained refrigerated merchandiser with automatic defrost, clearing ice from the system on a cycle without staff having to stop and do it by hand. The climate class 4 rating means it is built to hold temperature through the warmer, busier ambient conditions of a working shop floor. Cooling is on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a low global-warming potential.
The cabinet measures 998 × 810 × 1300 mm (W×D×H) and has a gross weight of 180 kg, so it fits into under a metre of width while still needing a floor and access route that take a heavy unit — the 810mm depth is the figure to check against doorways on the way in. It ships ready to run on R290.
