Why this low height multideck fridge earns its place
The Frost-Tech SLD60-60HCMK11 is a low-height, slim tiered multideck display designed to put chilled stock in front of customers at grabbing height. The open, tiered front is what a multideck does best: shoppers self-serve straight off the shelves, so it works hard as an impulse and top-up format at the till point, the aisle end, or anywhere footfall passes. The low-height build keeps sightlines across the shop open rather than walling off the space.
It runs with automatic defrost, clearing ice without a manual routine to schedule around trading hours, and carries a climate class 3 rating — built to hold temperature in normal indoor retail conditions up to around 25 °C ambient. As with any open-front cabinet, keep it out of draughts and away from doorways and heat sources so the refrigerated air curtain stays stable. It uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global warming potential.
The cabinet measures 600 × 600 × 1310 mm and weighs 135 kg. The 600 mm width and 600 mm depth give it a genuinely slim footprint that tucks into tight aisles and narrow gaps, and at 600 mm wide it passes through a standard single doorway without fuss — though at 135 kg it's still a two-to-three person move or a trolley job to get it into position.
