Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD Galaxy+ GP20FGD Black is a full-height glass-door multideck built to merchandise chilled stock behind four hinged glass doors. It presents 2.87 m² of display and 943 litres of usable net capacity from a 2165-litre gross cabinet. The black RAL9005 finish, inside and out, gives a dark backdrop that makes packaging and labels stand out through the glass.
It holds a -1 to +5 °C band suited to pre-packed chilled food and drink, with automatic defrost and an electronic controller keeping the temperature steady without manual intervention. Rated energy class B with an energy efficiency index of 13.5%, it draws 1996.5 kWh a year — about £499 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh. Running noise is 55 dB, and it is built to climate class 3.
The cabinet measures 1955 mm wide, 750 mm deep and 2040 mm high, and ships at 2000 × 770 × 2320 mm packed, so plan access for a unit this wide and check your route against the packed height before delivery. It weighs 439 kg net (470 kg gross), runs on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply and draws 13 A. Cooling uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 150 g charge.
