Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD150BKGDV2 is Blizzard's 1.5-metre glass-door multideck, a tiered display cabinet fronted with sliding glass doors. It puts several levels of chilled stock at eye level across a full 1.5 metres of run, which suits grab-and-go merchandising — soft drinks, dairy, chilled snacks and packaged food — where you want customers to see and reach the product. The sliding glass doors keep the display enclosed rather than open-fronted, so the cabinet presents a clean, glazed shopfront.
The cabinet runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a low global warming potential, and is rated to climate class 3, so it is built to hold its display temperature in a normally heated retail space rather than an unheated back room. At 390 kg gross it is a substantial fixed fixture: stand it on a floor that comfortably carries the weight, keep the condenser airflow clear, and site it as a permanent merchandising cabinet rather than something you move around.
Externally the cabinet measures 1520 mm wide, 800 mm deep and 1980 mm tall (W×D×H). The 800 mm depth and 1520 mm width mean you should measure your delivery route and final position before ordering, particularly through standard single doorways and around tight corners. It uses R290 refrigerant, which is efficient and low-GWP but flammable as all hydrocarbons are, so installation and any future servicing should be carried out by a competent refrigeration engineer.
