Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD100SSGDV2 is a 1-metre stainless-steel glass-door multideck: the open-deck merchandising format with sliding glass doors in front instead of left fully open. It holds 560 litres across four tiered display shelves at customer eye level across 1002 mm width — where food-to-go and impulse chilled sales are won.
The sliding glass doors are the working difference from a fully open cabinet. Stock stays on open-style display decks, visible and easy to shop, but the door keeps cold air in the cabinet rather than spilling it into the aisle, which cuts running costs and maintains temperature more reliably. The doors slide smoothly and suit tight aisles where a hinged door has nowhere to swing. The cabinet runs a tight 0 to +5 °C band — better for fresh-packed food than the +7 °C of open-fronts — with R290 refrigerant and digital temperature control. At 280 kg and 800 mm deep, it's more substantial than an open multideck, so plan for handling and floor space: you need 800 mm depth plus room for the door swing and staff movement behind.
