Why this display fridge earns its place
The Moffat CU535 is a drop-in chilled multi-level display built to sit within a prepared counter run rather than as a standalone cabinet. At 1486 mm wide, 660 mm deep and 750 mm tall, it tiers stock towards the customer across three glass shelves—a format that suits self-service grab-and-go lines where cold drinks, food-to-go and packaged fresh items need to be presented at eye level and within arm's reach. Its squared-edge glass and stainless-steel frame give it a clean, professional look that reads as part of the servery rather than an add-on.
The CU535 uses Moffat's Polar Air Stream technology, which delivers a constant recirculating cold-air curtain across the display faces—keeping food at the desired temperature throughout the trading day without the customer having to open a door. The unit is powered by a 2000 W supply and weighs 175 kg, so factor both into your counter build and siting.
Because it is a drop-in unit, the cabinet is set into a cut-out in the counter and connected to services on site, so the counter build and the aperture need to be planned around it. The stainless-steel finish resists corrosion in food-prep environments, and the built-in refrigeration is housed underneath in a compact cradle. Confirm the cut-out size, clearances and electrical supply with Craven Cooling before any fabrication is committed.
