Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The CEV425CP is an upright single-door glass merchandiser built to put chilled stock in front of customers rather than hide it away. Behind one hinged glass door sit four white wire shelves and 345 litres of usable space (358 litres gross), finished in white inside and out. It suits grab-and-go lines — drinks, sandwiches, dairy and packaged chilled goods — where visibility drives the sale.
Day to day it holds a chilled band of +2 to +10 °C under a mechanical controller, with R600a refrigerant and a measured sound level of 45 dB that keeps it acceptable in customer-facing areas. It carries a D energy rating and a 49.7% energy efficiency index; at 821.2 kWh a year that works out at about £205 a year at 25p/kWh. A climate class 4 rating means it is built to hold temperature in warm ambient conditions.
The cabinet measures 595 × 640 × 1980 mm externally, with a 505 × 462 × 1555 mm interior, and needs a standard 13 A socket drawing 295 W at 220–240 V. It weighs 78 kg net (83 kg gross) and ships packed at 665 × 715 × 2150 mm, so check doorway height and access on the delivery route. Cooling uses a 70 g charge of R600a.
