Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
This is a single-door display refrigerator in a black finish, made to sell chilled stock rather than tuck it away. The full-height glass door puts drinks, grab-and-go food and other chilled lines directly in the customer's eyeline, so they can be seen and self-selected without opening a solid door. It is a merchandising cabinet built for the shop floor and front-of-house counter.
In everyday service the upright glass door keeps stock on show while holding it at a steady 4–10 °C, with product stacked up the full 2024 mm height for easy reach at every level. With 232 litres of capacity on a narrow 450 mm footprint, it fits into tight spaces where other uprights won't. The glass door is clear and bright, lit by an LED interior light, so products are visible even from across the shop floor. As with any glass-door fridge, keep it clear of direct sunlight and away from heat sources so the refrigeration system isn't fighting the room.
Because this is a full-height freestanding cabinet, plan the install first: it stands 2024 mm tall, 450 mm wide and 497 mm deep — smaller in depth than many glass-door models, which is useful for tight shop floors. It weighs 88 kg, so confirm your access route and doorway are clear for delivery upright. The cabinet is made from powder-coated steel with a lockable door for night security. It runs from a standard 230 V mains supply at 50 Hz with a 21 kW power requirement — check that against your socket capacity. Note that this model is supplied with transport on request, so agree delivery when you order. Craven Cooling can arrange servicing if needed.
