Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The BMC1 is a Blizzard single-door glass display chiller: a full-height, glass-fronted cabinet that puts stock on display behind a hinged glass door. With 614 litres of gross capacity it holds a working range of chilled drinks, packaged food and grab-and-go lines on view, so customers can see the stock before they open the door. The black cabinet frames the glass front and suits a shop-floor or front-of-house position.
It holds a working band of -1 to +10 °C, wide enough to run cold soft drinks and packaged chilled lines, and it clears frost on an automatic defrost cycle so there is no manual defrosting to schedule. It is charged with R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global-warming impact; because R290 is flammable, servicing and gas work belong with a qualified engineer.
The cabinet measures 750 × 742 × 2003 mm (W×D×H), so at 750 mm wide it passes through a standard doorway on its way to the floor, though at 2003 mm tall it needs headroom clearance where it stands. Gross weight is 107 kg, so plan for a firm, level floor and a two-person placement. Keep it out of direct heat and sunlight, and leave the specified clearances around the body for airflow.
