Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold NC5000G is a double-door glass merchandiser for high-traffic chilled retail, presenting drinks and grab-and-go lines behind two hinged glass doors. It offers 1149 litres gross and 1079 litres net over eight white wire shelves, with 1.3 m² of display area, finished in white inside and out.
Day to day it holds +2 to +8 °C with ventilated, fan-assisted cooling, automatic defrost and an electronic controller, and is rated to climate class 4 for warmer trading areas. It uses R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge and runs at 45 dB. At 1025.7 kWh a year it works out to about £256 a year at 25p/kWh, sitting in energy class B with an energy efficiency index of 15% and drawing 500 W; actual running cost varies with your tariff, ambient temperature and door use.
The interior measures 1250 × 580 × 1327 mm across the eight-shelf layout. The cabinet weighs 212 kg net and 252 kg gross, so plan the delivery route and lifting accordingly, and it connects to a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240V/50Hz single phase.
