Why this countertop glass door fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD BC30 is a countertop glass door chiller sized for a till point or back counter. A single hinged self-closing glass door and two black wire shelves put drinks and grab-and-go snacks on clear view in 20 litres of net space, turning a small patch of counter into an impulse display without giving up much room.
In use it holds +2 to +10 °C with automatic defrost and a mechanical controller, and it carries a C energy rating. Drawing 60 W and rated at 200.8 kWh a year, it costs about £50 a year at 25p/kWh, and its 44 dB sound level keeps it unobtrusive on a serving counter. Its climate class 3 rating means it is built to hold temperature in ambient conditions up to that class.
The cabinet is 356 × 430 × 491 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 23 kg net, 25 kg packed at 400 × 450 × 520 mm, so it lifts onto a counter easily. It runs on 220-240 V and a standard 13-amp socket, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 20 g charge. The finish is black outside with a coated black aluminium interior.
