Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD PDA3-CTF120B-1 is a chilled display cabinet built to merchandise cakes, patisserie and chilled counter lines at the counter. Its black and glass exterior and glass-shelved interior put product on show, with three glass shelves plus the base giving a 2.43 m² display area to work across. Gross capacity is 530 litres, 338 litres of it usable for stock.
The cabinet runs between -1 and +5 °C, cold enough for cream cakes, dairy and chilled desserts, and holds that band with automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to manage. It carries a B energy rating with an energy efficiency index of 14.5 and draws 610 W. At 2091 kWh a year that is about £523 a year to run at 25p/kWh. Rated noise is 65 dB, and it is built to climate class 3 for normal indoor ambient conditions.
Internally the cabinet measures 1146 × 600 × 808 mm (W×D×H) and it weighs 285 kg gross, so plan delivery and final positioning for a heavy unit on a solid, level floor. Cooling uses natural-hydrocarbon R290 refrigerant with a 115 g charge. Interior surfaces are stainless steel and glass for cleaning and hygiene.
