Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The LPD1700F is a large chilled display cabinet built around 2.52 m² of display area, laid out over two glass shelves plus a base tier and framed in stainless steel and glass. The panoramic glass front makes it a merchandising cabinet for cakes, patisserie and chilled desserts where the whole spread needs to be visible to customers along its length.
It holds a tight +2 to +8 °C band suited to delicate chilled products, with automatic off-cycle defrost so there is no manual defrost routine. It is rated climate class 3. On the energy label it carries class D at 5580.8 kWh a year, which works out at about £1395 a year at 25p/kWh — a figure that moves with your tariff, ambient conditions and door use.
The cabinet measures 1705 × 745 × 1209 mm externally with a 1640 × 510 × 670 mm internal display, and ships packed at 1760 × 800 × 1320 mm — check that packed width against any tight access before delivery. It weighs 318 kg net (388 kg packed), draws from a standard 13-amp 220-240 V supply, and uses R290 refrigerant with a 680 g charge.
