Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The CHOPIN 700 FV-VP is an upright chilled display cabinet built to show cakes, patisserie and prepared chilled items to the customer. It puts 1.84 m² of display area behind two sliding glass doors, with a stainless-steel-and-glass interior that keeps the product the focus, all inside a white cabinet that stays neutral against most interiors.
Day to day it holds +2 to +6 °C, with automatic defrost keeping the coils clear without manual intervention. It carries an energy class B rating from an input power of 410 W, which works out at about £301 a year in energy at 25p/kWh, and it uses R290 refrigerant. Its climate class 3 rating suits a normal indoor service environment.
For installation the cabinet measures 750 × 800 × 1300 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 155 kg gross, 130 kg net, so plan on lifting help and check that access doorways clear the 750 mm width. The sliding glass doors need no swing clearance, and the cabinet runs on a 220-240 V / 50 Hz single-phase supply drawing 13 A.
