Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Venere PS is a tall upright refrigerated glass display standing 2000 mm high, with five shelves and 1.7 m² of display area behind glass. Finished black outside with a stainless steel interior, it merchandises cakes, patisserie and chilled products vertically, so it stacks a lot of visible display into a compact 668 mm-wide footprint — a display tower for counters where floor space is tight but height is available.
It holds a -2 to +10 °C band with automatic defrost. It runs at 70 dB, so consider that in a quiet front-of-house setting, and it is rated climate class 4. On the energy label it carries class B at 1281.1 kWh a year, which works out at about £320 a year at 25p/kWh — among the lower running costs for a cabinet of this display area, though the real figure depends on tariff, ambient conditions and door use.
The cabinet measures 668 × 773 × 2000 mm externally with a 548 × 511 × 1516 mm internal display, and ships packed at 745 × 775 × 2100 mm — at over two metres packed, check ceiling height and lift or stair access before delivery. It weighs 156 kg net (181 kg packed), draws from a standard 13-amp supply, and uses R290 refrigerant with an 80 g charge.
