Why this curved glass cake display fridge earns its place
The LPD1200C is a curved-glass chilled display cabinet built to put cakes, desserts and chilled patisserie at eye level. It carries 2.01 m² of display area over three glass shelves plus the base deck, so a counter can merchandise several tiers of product at once. The stainless steel and glass construction reads clean front-of-house, and the two sliding glass doors give staff quick access from behind without breaking the display line.
Day to day it holds a +2 to +8 °C band suitable for chilled cakes and desserts, controlled electronically and defrosted automatically on an off-cycle so there is no manual routine to manage. It is rated energy class D at 4591.7 kWh a year, which works out at about £1148 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh. The cabinet is built to climate class 3 and runs on R290 refrigerant with a 130 g charge.
The cabinet measures 1205 × 745 × 1360 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 1260 × 800 × 1480 mm, so measure access routes before delivery — the 800 mm packed depth is the number that catches standard single doorways. It draws from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V / 50 Hz, rated 580 W. Net weight is 269 kg (309 kg gross), so plan for two or more people and a clear, level siting position.
