Why this curved glass cake display fridge earns its place
The EVO1502 SS is the stainless steel version of TEFCOLD's curved-glass patisserie display cabinet, built to merchandise cakes and pastries behind a panoramic glass front. Both the exterior and interior are stainless steel, giving a hard-wearing, wipe-clean finish that suits busy production and front-of-house environments. 2.05 m² of display area is arranged over three glass shelves plus the base.
It holds a +1 to +10 °C chilled band under an electronic controller, with automatic defrost clearing ice without staff input. Cooling runs on R290 refrigerant with a 145 g charge, and the cabinet is rated climate class 3 at a low 44 dB. At energy class E and 4161 kWh a year, running cost is about £1040 a year at 25p/kWh.
Internally the display measures 1455 × 502 × 790 mm (W×D×H) across the three shelves. The cabinet weighs 197 kg gross and connects to a standard 13 amp supply, so no special electrics are required. Two sliding glass doors give staff access from the serving side.
