Why this curved glass cake display fridge earns its place
The INFRICO VBR18R is a curved-glass refrigerated merchandiser built for cake and patisserie display. At 1935mm wide it puts nearly two metres of chilled glass frontage in front of the customer, so gateaux, tarts, desserts and grab-and-go chilled lines are shown off at the counter rather than hidden behind a solid door. The curved glass keeps the product the hero while the cabinet does the cooling.
Day to day it runs as a self-contained refrigerated display with automatic defrost, so ice is cleared from the system on a cycle without staff stopping to do it by hand. The climate class 4 rating means it is built to hold its temperature through the warmer, busier ambient conditions of a working shop floor. Cooling is handled on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a low global-warming potential.
The cabinet measures 1935 × 810 × 1300 mm (W×D×H) and has a gross weight of 212 kg, so plan the delivery route and final position for a wide, heavy unit — the 810mm depth is the figure that governs whether it clears standard doorways on the way in. It ships ready to run on R290. Site it on a floor that carries the weight and leave clearance around the cabinet for airflow and servicing.
