Why this countertop cake display fridge earns its place
The UPD60 is a countertop refrigerated glass display for putting chilled cakes, desserts and patisserie in front of customers at the point of sale. A hinged glass door and two black wire shelves present 58 litres net (60 litres gross) across 0.57 m² of display area, and the black ABS finish frames the product cleanly. It is compact enough to sit on a counter rather than the floor.
Day to day it holds +2 to +12 °C with automatic off-cycle defrost and an electronic controller. At 42 dB it is quiet for counter-front service, and its climate class 4 rating suits warmer, busier rooms. Rated energy class C at 1310.3 kWh a year, it costs about £328 a year to run at 25p/kWh, drawing 164 W, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 38 g charge.
The cabinet measures 428 × 386 × 855 mm (W×D×H), a small counter footprint of 428 mm wide by 386 mm deep, standing 855 mm tall. It runs on a 13 A supply, weighs 38 kg net (42 kg packed), and the internal space measures 400 × 358 × 460 mm.
