Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The Drop-In Refrigerated Top Unit 6/1 is a built-in refrigerated display well designed to be recessed into a buffet counter, servery or bespoke island rather than used as a standalone cabinet. It gives a chilled top surface sized around gastronorm pans, so a run of prepared dishes, salads, desserts or grab-and-go items can be presented cold in a fixed servery. It suits sites building a permanent buffet or counter line rather than moving displays around.
In use it keeps gastronorm pans of prepared food chilled from the counter surface through a service period, holding presentation stock at a safe cold temperature while it is on show. Because it is integrated into the counter, the food sits flush in the servery top where customers or staff can reach it. The unit maintains a temperature range of −10 to +5 °C, sufficient for chilled food display and holding.
This is a drop-in unit, so it is installed into an aperture cut in the counter or servery and wired in, rather than simply plugged in and placed. The counter has to be built or cut to take it, and the aperture dimensions (2090 mm wide × 610 mm deep × 476 mm high externally) and electrical requirements should go to your counter fabricator or installer before any joinery is done. The unit weighs approximately 78 kg when full and operates on a standard 230V supply.
