Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The 7178.2010 is an open-front drop-in refrigerated display, built to be dropped into a counter, buffet run or serving line so chilled product sits flush with the surrounding worktop. With 140 litres of gross volume in an 1100mm wide body, it gives smaller counters a built-in chilled section without committing to a full free-standing case.
The open front makes it a self-service format: customers reach straight in, which suits grab-and-go chilled lines at the point of service. It is specified for +2 to +8 °C operation, with automatic defrost and LED interior lighting, so the cabinet is built for visible chilled presentation through service rather than hidden storage.
Installation is a build-in job rather than a free-standing drop. You cut an aperture in your host counter and drop the unit in, so plan around the 1100mm width, 700mm depth, 850mm height and 155kg gross weight. Site the open-front display away from draughts and direct heat, and confirm a 230V, 50Hz supply at the counter before install.
