Why this salad bar earns its place
The KCDL3HT sits in CED's Kubus range of drop-in serve-over displays. It is designed to fit flush within a bespoke counter or island at 1175 mm wide, turning a stretch of worktop into a refrigerated deli counter. Product is presented at the customer-facing front and served over the top by staff, which suits cheeses, cooked meats, prepared salads and other chilled deli lines that sell on how they look. At just 540 mm tall, it sits at comfortable counter height without blocking sightlines.
As a chilled serve-over held at −1 to +5°C, it holds product on display through the trading day while keeping the well accessible for restocking and portioning. Staff work from the operator side, so stock rotation, refills and cleaning happen without disturbing the display face. It uses fan-assisted R290 refrigerant cooling at 63.8 dB(A), quiet enough for front-of-house service. Because it is a served format rather than open self-service, product stays behind the counter and under staff control. It holds 3 gastronorm (1/1) containers.
Being a drop-in unit, it is built to be recessed into counter joinery rather than stood on the floor as a standalone cabinet, so the surrounding counter is cut and prepared to take it. The external dimensions are 1175 mm wide × 540 mm tall × 784 mm deep, and it weighs 133 kg gross. The exact cut-out, services and clearances for this model are set out in the specification, and our team can confirm what your counter build needs before you order.
