Why this salad bar earns its place
This is a drop-in refrigerated well rather than a passive one — it uses genuine blown-air refrigeration to hold 2 x GN 1/1 pans at temperature, designed to work equally well on an assisted-service or self-service counter. It's 1/1GN compatible and built to fit a 725 x 646mm cut-out, so it's a straightforward retrofit into an existing servery run.
Running at -1°C to +5°C, it's suited to chilled salads, cold meats and desserts that need genuinely reliable refrigeration rather than just a chilled surface. A gantry with fluorescent tube illumination sits over the well to keep the food looking good, and a toughened glass screen with an over-shelf gives you the sneeze-guard hygiene a self-service counter needs.
On the practical side, it's fitted with a self-evaporating condense system, so there's no manual draining to build into your daily routine, and it draws 1.6kW to run the blown-air refrigeration. At 75kg it's straightforward to position, and it's backed by 2 years parts and labour.
