Why this triple door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco by TEFCOLD SCL-222GMU+ is a triple-door backbar cooler built to merchandise chilled drinks front of house. Three hinged glass doors put bottles and cans on show behind the bar, framed by an anthracite RAL 7021 exterior and a silver interior that keep the cabinet looking sharp in service. Gross capacity runs to 455 litres, with 422 litres of usable net volume across the three sections.
In use it holds a +2 to +10 °C band suited to bottled and canned drinks, with ventilated cooling to keep temperatures even across a fully loaded cabinet and automatic defrost to clear frost without intervention. An electronic controller manages the setpoint, and the cabinet runs at 41 dB — quiet enough to sit in a customer-facing bar without competing with the room.
It draws 300 W from a 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply and cools on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with an 80 g charge. Packed for delivery it measures 1775 × 610 × 970 mm (W×D×H), so check access routes and the final bar position before it arrives. Energy class C at 605 kWh a year works out at about £151 a year at 25p/kWh.
