Why this triple door bar fridge earns its place
The KOLDBOX KBC3 is a triple hinged glass-door bottle cooler built for front-of-house drinks display. The three glass doors put bottled beer, mixers and soft drinks on show along the back bar, so staff serve from a chilled, visible line rather than reaching into a cupboard. It is a merchandising cabinet first: stock stays cold, lit and in easy reach of the pass.
Day to day it runs on automatic defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to schedule around service. The cooling circuit uses R600a, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant, and the cabinet carries a climate class 4 rating — meaning it is built to hold its temperature in warmer rooms rather than only in a cool cellar. That matters behind a busy bar where ambient heat builds through the evening.
On build and install, the cabinet measures 1350 × 520 × 900 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 89 kg gross. Allow a 1350 mm run for the body; at 520 mm deep it passes through standard doorways on delivery, though at 89 kg it is a two-person lift into position. The refrigerant is R600a.
