Why this beer dump earns its place
The BHC150X1 is a chest-format bottle cooler built in SS201 stainless steel inside and out, with 440 litres gross and 293 litres net capacity. The stainless construction stands up to a wet, high-throughput bar or service environment and wipes down easily. It is a bulk bottled-drink cooler you load from the top and serve from, keeping a deep reserve of bottles cold and within reach behind the bar or on a service line.
It holds +2 to +8 °C using static cooling, with automatic defrost and a mechanical controller for simple, robust operation. Measured noise is 42 dB, quiet enough for a front-of-house position, and it is built to climate class 4 for warmer rooms. On energy it is rated class C with an energy efficiency index of 42.4%; at a listed 1076.8 kWh a year that is about £269 a year at 25p/kWh.
External dimensions are 1505 × 565 × 930 mm (W×D×H), with usable internal space of 1400 × 470 × 690 mm, and it ships crated at 1550 × 630 × 960 mm. It runs on R600a hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 95 g charge on a 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply drawing 200 W, and weighs 84 kg net (114 kg gross), so site it on a firm, level floor.
