Why this double door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Galaxy+ GPF2D EHA is a double-door upright glass door freezer, built to show frozen stock through full-height glass whilst holding it at -21 to -18 °C. The glass front suits self-service frozen retail, where customers pick straight from the cabinet without staff intervention. The extended-height variant adds a fifth shelf compared to the standard model, stacking more product in the same footprint.
On energy, the cabinet is rated class D with an energy efficiency index of 42.7%, consuming 8,150 kWh a year. That works out to about £2,038 a year at 25p/kWh — a figure worth modelling against your own tariff, as a frozen display cabinet runs hard year-round. The triple-glazed doors and heated glass prevent condensation and keep the display bright and clear throughout the trading day.
With 1,806 litres capacity, it suits smaller to mid-size frozen aisles. At 1563 × 751 × 2165 mm external and 515 kg, confirm doorway access and floor loading before installation. Craven Cooling can discuss the fit and size the incoming 220–240 V/50 Hz supply with you.
