Why this countertop freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD UF50G is a countertop display freezer that puts frozen stock — ice cream, novelties, small frozen lines — on the counter where customers order. The black exterior and white interior, single heated hinged glass door and two white wire shelves give a clear, condensation-free view of the product in a footprint small enough for a till point or back bar. Display area is 0.23 m².
The freezer holds -24 to -12 °C on static cooling, with a mechanical controller setting the temperature. Defrost is manual, so build a quick defrost into the cleaning routine rather than expecting an automatic cycle. It carries a C energy class and uses 923.4 kWh a year, about £231 a year at 25p/kWh, and at 45 dB it is quiet enough to sit in a customer-facing spot. Climate class 4 means it is rated for warmer ambient conditions.
The cabinet measures 570 × 530 × 520 mm (W×D×H) and sits on a counter rather than the floor, so check the surface takes its 34 kg net weight (39 kg gross). It runs from a standard 13 A supply on 220-240 V, drawing 154 W. Internal space is 450 × 420 × 380 mm across two wire shelves, 50 litres gross and 48 litres net. Refrigerant is R290 (45 g charge), a low-GWP hydrocarbon.
