Why this display freezer earns its place
The Polar G-Series GK068 is a countertop ice cream freezer that holds four Napoli pans and fits a worktop rather than the floor, so it slots into a serving counter where space is tight while keeping ice cream at the point of sale. At 865 mm wide and 377 mm high, it sits neatly on a standard counter depth of around 600–700 mm. Four pans give a working spread of flavours to portion and serve to order, and the unit weighs 44 kg, so it can be repositioned if a counter layout changes.
In use the four Napoli pans sit in the cabinet and are worked straight from the counter through service, so ice cream stays frozen and within reach rather than being fetched from a back store. It's built around quick, repeated access at the point of sale. The temperature band holds at −24 to −15 °C, and the cabinet runs on a standard 220–240 V socket at 210 W, drawing 3.3 kWh per 24 hours. Climate class 4 means it can work reliably in warm ambient conditions.
As a countertop unit it needs a solid, level surface and a mains socket nearby — the dimensions are 865 × 735 × 377 mm (W × D × H), so measure your available counter against those before ordering. The freezer uses R290 refrigerant, comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty, and carries Craven Cooling's own service and support behind it. Energy class B and the 1739 kWh/year figure are set out in the specification table; use those figures on the energy label decoder to see running costs on your own tariff.
