Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The DUPLA 2.2DE is a large white high-vision display freezer built to merchandise frozen stock on the shop floor. It offers 2.65 m² of display area over 1697 litres gross and 1255 litres net, so it carries a serious volume of frozen lines while keeping them visible to customers rather than hidden in back-of-house storage.
In use it holds -24 to -18 °C with static cooling, automatic defrost and an electronic controller managing the cabinet. It carries an energy class C rating from an input power of 522 W, which works out at about £840 a year in energy at 25p/kWh, and at 48 dB it runs quietly enough for a shop floor. Climate class 3 suits a normal indoor retail environment.
For installation this is a substantial cabinet at 2150 × 1465 × 930 mm (W×D×H), weighing 251 kg gross and 198 kg net, so plan the delivery route, access and lifting carefully — the packed unit is 2240 × 1550 × 1050 mm. It runs on a 220-240 V / 50 Hz single-phase supply drawing 13 A, and uses R290 refrigerant with an 85 g charge.
