Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The 900CHV WH is a white island site display freezer built to sit as a standalone unit and let shoppers browse frozen product from every side. Its open top gives a 1.46 m² display area, making it a merchandising cabinet for frozen impulse lines in the middle of the floor rather than against a wall.
It holds -24 to -18 °C under an electronic controller in energy class B, using static cooling with a manual defrost that needs clearing periodically. It runs at a rated 48 dB and carries a climate class 3 rating for normal indoor conditions. At 1642.5 kWh a year it works out at about £411 a year at 25p/kWh.
The freezer measures 2050 × 960 × 780 mm (W×D×H) externally with 1880 × 790 × 485 mm of internal space, giving a gross 839 litres and net 652 litres. It weighs 105 kg net and ships packed at 2140 × 1030 × 840 mm, so check the packed width against your delivery route. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V/50 Hz, draws 411 W and uses R290 refrigerant with a 60 g charge.
