Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The 1100CHV WH is a white island site display freezer built to sit as a standalone unit and let shoppers reach frozen product from every side. At 2500 mm wide it is a large-footprint merchandising freezer for frozen lines in the middle of the floor rather than against a wall.
It runs under an electronic controller using static cooling with a manual defrost that needs clearing periodically, at a rated 48 dB and a climate class 3 rating for normal indoor conditions. At 1788.5 kWh a year it works out at about £447 a year at 25p/kWh, before your own tariff is applied.
The freezer measures 2500 × 960 × 780 mm (W×D×H) externally with 2280 × 790 × 485 mm of internal space, giving a gross 1032 litres and net 805 litres. It weighs 125 kg net and ships packed at 2590 × 1030 × 840 mm, so check the packed width against your delivery route. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V/50 Hz, draws 545 W and uses R290 refrigerant with a 95 g charge.
