Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISETTA 6LX is a compact scoop ice cream display built to put a tight, well-chosen flavour range in front of customers at the counter. The 0.36 m² display area suits a focused selection rather than a full parade, and the white exterior and white interior keep the cabinet clean-looking and simple to wipe down in a busy service spot.
Cooling is static, holding the display between -16 and -14 °C — the band that keeps scooping ice cream firm and ready to serve. Defrost is automatic and electric, so there is no manual routine to run. The cabinet is rated to climate class 4 and carries energy class B with an EEI of 18.9%; at its rated 2,482 kWh a year that works out to about £621 a year at 25p/kWh, which keeps running costs modest for a cabinet on all season.
It weighs 97 kg net and 119 kg packed, so it needs a firm floor and a straightforward delivery route. The cabinet draws 810 W through a standard 13 amp supply at 220-240 V, and uses R290 refrigerant with an 85 g charge.
