Why this mobile ice cream freezer earns its place
The MOBILUX 21 COMBI is a compact mobile freezer/chiller aimed at operators who need display away from a fixed installation. It offers 206 litres of usable capacity (249 litres gross) behind a white exterior and a hard-wearing hammered-aluminium interior. The footprint suits events, kiosks, forecourts and mobile catering where a full-size cabinet will not fit.
It uses static cooling with manual defrost, managed by a mechanical controller, and runs on R290 — a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant. Drawing 110 W, its energy use of 963.6 kWh a year works out at about £241 a year at 25p/kWh. A climate class 4 rating means it is built to keep working in warm ambient conditions, which matters for outdoor and seasonal trading.
Externally the unit measures 1054 × 654 × 916 mm, with an 850 × 450 × 686 mm interior, and ships packed at 1095 × 760 × 940 mm. It weighs 68 kg net (75 kg gross), keeping it manageable to reposition, and runs from a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply on a 12 A circuit. Cooling uses a 93 g charge of R290.
