Why this display chest freezer earns its place
The ST160 is a compact display chest freezer with a hinged glass lid, so frozen stock stays visible from above while the cabinet keeps a small footprint. It holds 115 litres gross and 105 litres net, which makes it a practical countertop or floor unit for impulse frozen lines where a full upright would be too much cabinet.
Cooling is static and the temperature band runs -24 to -14 °C, controlled by a simple mechanical thermostat. Defrost is manual, so you clear frost on your own schedule. Sound output is 45 dB, it draws 80 W, and it is rated energy class D at 419.7 kWh a year — about £105 a year at 25p/kWh. The cabinet carries a climate class 4 rating.
The external footprint is 550 × 550 × 870 mm (W×D×H) and it ships packed at 655 × 600 × 955 mm, so it moves easily through standard doorways. Net weight is 35 kg (43 kg gross), light enough for two people to reposition. It runs on a 220-240 V/50 Hz, 13 A supply and uses R600a refrigerant.
